The Car Free Plaza Celebration will take place on Main St. and 21st from 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm on Monday, Sept. 13!
The celebration will feature community-led projects focusing on the history of the area, storytelling, art showings, craft making, and small-scale performances. The goal of the projects is to create conversation and dialogue regarding equity, civil issues, culture, and environmental and climate action. There will be several surveys taking place to help meet the needs of the community, and discussions on several community issues. The construction tools will encompass props, music stands, fabric art, and book exchange. The lovely coffee shops in the area will provide opportunities for folks to drink and eat.
