Want to be on the organizing crew for Car Free Day 2010? Check out the pages for each location to find out more about getting involved with one of the neighbourhood festivals. Or just show up at an organizer meeting! Information on upcoming meetings for each festival is listed in the righthand sidebar of this website.

Block Parties in Kitsilano (and elsewhere)

Kitsilano Car Free Day is unique in that it follows a block party model, rather than the large street festival format used by the other three fests. If you are interested in hosting your own block party on Car Free Day – in Kitsilano or anywhere else in Vancouver – visit the Kitsilano page to find out how.

Businesses, NGOs, Artisans etc.

Are you a local business or artisan interested in selling your wares at one of the festivals, or a local non-profit interested in educating attendees about your message? You’ll need to contact each festival directly to arrange things:

Performers

Interested in contributing to the atmosphere on the street through musical, spoken word, dance, or other performance? We welcome performers of all kinds! Please note that we are a volunteer festival, meaning all organizers and participants donate their time and energy for fun, not profit. This means no entertainer may solicit donations. You are, however, welcome to sell CDs.
