Get Involved

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Car Free Vancouver Society! There are many ways to get involved in the 2014 festivals:

Volunteers

If you would like to volunteer as a Core Festival Organizer or Day-of Volunteer for Car Free Vancouver Day, visit the web page of your preferred festival site to sign up as a volunteer and to find out the details about upcoming planning meetings:

Commercial Drive

Main Street

West End

Kitsilano

The planning meetings are open and fun — just bring your great ideas! No experience is required. The Car Free Vancouver Society also has committees that are active year-round. If you would like to learn more about these volunteer opportunities, please contact info@carfreevancouver.org.

Businesses, Non-profits, Artisans, etc.

Are you a local business or artisan interested in selling your wares at one of the festivals, or a local non-profit interested in educating attendees about your message? Please complete one festival site application form and a site organizer will get in touch with you:

Entertainers

Interested in contributing to the atmosphere on the street through musical, spoken word, dance, or other performance? We welcome performers of all kinds! Please note that we are a volunteer festival, meaning that all organizers and most performers donate their time and energy for fun and the love of their community. Please understand if we can’t find a spot for you! We will do our best however to connect you with an appropriate stage manager or arts group.
